The Learning
Nest.
Enrichment woven naturally into every day. No extra driving. No separate fees. Just curiosity, confidence, and room to grow, right where your child already is.
More than supervision.
Every child deserves more than supervision. They deserve experiences that light them up from the inside out. That's why we created The Learning Nest, enrichment woven naturally into every day at Mercy Nest Childcare.
This isn't a separate program bolted onto childcare. It's part of the fabric. From the moment your child arrives, they step into a world designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and grow at their own beautiful pace.
No extra driving.
No scheduling headaches.
Parents juggle enough. Pick-up, drop-off, activities across town, dinner on the table by six. We get it.
The Learning Nest brings enrichment to your child right here, right where they already spend their day. No extra stops. No rushing between locations. No separate fees for separate programs.
- Hands-on enrichment activities built into the daily rhythm
- Exposure to music, art, storytelling, and nature every week
- Learning guided by trained, caring adults in a familiar setting
- A calm, consistent environment where they feel safe enough to try new things

Learning is not a subject.
It's a way of being.
It happens in a sensory bin. In a story read aloud. In mud between little fingers and rain on an upturned face.
We don't teach children to learn. We simply give them the space to do what they were born to do.
What's inside The Learning Nest.
Built around how young children actually learn, through touch, sound, movement, and wonder.
Sensory Exploration
Children dig into textures, sounds, and natural materials. Sand, water, pinecones, fabric scraps, rice bins. These aren't just fun, they build neural pathways, strengthen fine motor skills, and teach cause and effect.
Early Literacy & Storytelling
We read together, act out tales, and play with sounds and words. Children build vocabulary, listening skills, and a love of language long before they learn to read.
Creative Expression
Paint on paper. Drums in small hands. Dancing to a favorite song. Art, music, and movement give children a way to express what words can't yet hold. There is no wrong way to create at the Nest.
Nature & Outdoor Discovery
Our backyard is a classroom. Children observe insects, plant seeds, collect leaves, and feel rain on their faces. Outdoor play builds strong bodies and feeds a natural sense of wonder about the world.
Small groups,
big growth.
More One-on-One Time
When a caregiver works with just a few children at a time, they notice more. They see the child who needs an extra moment and catch the spark of interest that becomes a week-long exploration.
The benefit
Children who feel seen, grow more.
Tailored Activities
Activities are shaped around each child's interests and abilities, not a one-size curriculum. Your child leads; we follow with support, materials, and encouragement.
The benefit
Learning that meets each child where they are.
Calm, Low-Stimulation
A quieter, calmer environment means less overwhelm and more space to focus, explore, and truly engage. Big rooms and big groups aren't always better.
The benefit
More focus, more engagement, less overwhelm.
Stronger Bonds
Stronger relationships between children, caregivers, and families. This is what personalized attention looks like in practice, not a promise on a brochure, a daily reality.
The benefit
Relationships that extend beyond the classroom.
"Children who feel safe and supported will grow. They will reach. They will surprise you."A Learning Nest Philosophy
Growing at their own pace.
There is no finish line in early childhood. No race to the next milestone. At The Learning Nest, we follow the child, not the calendar.
Some children talk early. Some walk late. Some need time to warm up before they join the group. All of this is normal, and all of it is welcome here.
We track developmental milestones carefully, but gently. We celebrate progress without pressure. A child who stacks three blocks today isn't behind the one who stacks five. They're building strength, focus, and confidence, and that matters more than any checklist.

Give them time.
Give them trust.
Give them The Learning Nest. Reach out to learn more or begin enrollment.
